Omar Corona-Sarabia

Born in Gómez Palacio, Durango, Mexico, in 1978, I earned a Master of Fine Arts from Idaho State University in 2010 and have since resided in Idaho. My practice explores the relationship between nature and the human condition, often through non-representational works that investigate processes of growth and transformation. My past projects intertwine natural forms with personal experiences linked to the environment. My work has received support from the Idaho Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts in 2013 and 2022. I am currently a professor of Arts and Humanities at the College of Eastern Idaho.
